IWC Ingenieur Automitac Edition "Climate Action"

Na stránkách IWC se objevil nový model z řady Ingenieur, o kterém píší toto:

The engraving on the back cover, "IWC supports voluntary action on climate change", of the Ingenieur Automatic Edition "Climate Action" is identical in design to Reference 3234 and, like this model, equipped with the IWC-manufactured 80111-calibre movement featuring a Pellaton winding system and integrated shock absorbers."

 

Netušil jsem, že taková firma, jako je IWC, klesne natolik, aby musela propagaci svých výrobků zakládat na tomto profláknutém tématu. Dle mého názoru to do hodinařiny nepatří. Nebo má někdo z vás hodinky, které vypouštějí CO2?

A co je na tom poklesleho? Dnesni hysterii kolem emisi prave CO2 zrovna taky nezeru, ale tohle mi nepripada jako nic zvlastniho - do hodinariny to zrejme nepatri, ale do marketingu urcite. Ze jsou "CO2-neutral certified enterprise" muze pusobit jako reklamni zvast, ale o vypousteni CO2 hodinkami tam neni ani slovo. Navic si na tomto proflaklem tematu nezakladaji pri propagaci vsech svych vyrobku, ale jen tohoto konkretniho. A IWC ma tradicne nekolik modelu v limitovanych edicich zamerenych na nejake nadace a vsechny jsou zretelne drazsi nez zakladni varianty. Takze pokud zakaznik chce svym nakupem nejen ziskat zvlastni hodinky, ale podporit krome deti ci potapecu i ekology, proc mu nedat moznost? A zrovna tyhle Ingenieur mi pripadaji velmi povedene ... tipnul bych, ze tech 1000 kousku najde sve kupce (treba v US) celkem hrave.
