Chr.Ward C9 Worldtimer preview

Description

A patent is currently pending for the ingenious modification to the ETA 2893 movement our master watchmaker, Johannes Jahnke, has created for this unique and particularly beautiful dual-time zone watch, the C9 Worldtimer.

By modifying the gearing and adding a rotating disc, he's enabled both time-zones to be on a 24-hour basis and for the second time zone to be indicated not just as airport codes in a window at 12 o'clock but also for the location to be shown via red dots on the world map. It's a quite brilliant piece of mechanical engineering and a stunning timepiece.

Movement

Rarely has a base ETA 2893 calibre been given such an intriguing lease of life than when our master watchmaker, Johannes Jahnke, created his third JJ movement.

His ingenious modification changes the gearing system of the automatic movement so that the hour and minute hand take 24 hours to complete a full cycle as does the GMT function.

The GMT hand also activates a second indicator which highlights the time-zone on a map. A patent is currently pending on this unique example of the watchmaker's art."

I když mi asi budou trochu velky...uvidime

Vypadají parádně. A naživo to musí bejt ještě lepší.

?His ingenious modification changes the gearing system of the automatic movement so that the hour and minute hand take 24 hours to complete a full cycle as does the GMT function. ?

Na to bych si nezvykl.
