Tak tohle je jedna z nejlepších věcí od CHB vůbec... vlastně celý album Surrender je, alespoň pro mě, to nejlepší od Chemiků. Celej komplet má zvláštní, takovej "jinej", zvuk. Celkem dost kytar, výborná nálada.

 

Mně se právě Surrender líbí stejně jako se nedokážu zaposlouchat do Push The Button - ani v jednom případě to nemá racionální důvod. Zjistil jsem, že je to ideální hudba k řízení, když jsem si pustil poslední desku cestou z Brna do Bratislavy. Na ruce nový hodinky, sluníčko zapadalo a mně se jelo báječně

 

Na tý poslední desce je i tahle skvělá věc. Vyplatí se počkat do druhý minuty, pak to chytne tempo

Tak mně se zase Push The Button líbí moc, obzvlášť pak po sobě jdoucí "Believe" a "Holg Tight London". Vůbec Chemical Brothers jsou pro mne báječnou vzpomínkou na taneční devadesátý léta, spoustu letních festivalů a nekonečných jízd minimálně do rána... Pro mne s DM 1988 nej live hudební zážitek (Proboštská jezera 2002).

Jak se teď motám kolem tý historie dance music, tak sem přihodím jednu takovou zajímavost. Jde o obecně uznanou (dlouho jsem si myslel, že je to On And On od Jesseho Saunderse) vůbec první House nahrávku v historii. Konkrétně z roku 1983. Já sem hodím release od TRAX Records z roku 1987, protože ta úplně původní vyšla jenom na kazetě. Takže věřte-nevěřte, tohle je takový "trilobit" z něhož evolucí vznikly všechny odnože (acid, trance, tribal), ale vlastně tu leží i kořeny techna, jungle, DnB... vlastně všeho. Tuším, že jde také zároveň o první využití bass line generátoru Roland TB-303 v house music.

Momentálně jsem totálně odvařenej z Yehudiho Menuhina, kterej si takhle v roce 1947 střihl Paganiniho Moto Perpetuo. To je neuvěřitelně těžkej kus, kterej Paganini vymyslel, aby vytočil všechny ostatní houslisty na světě (předpokládám, že úspěšně). Samozřejmě znám verzi, kterou hraje Itzhak Perlman, ale tohle je lepší. Tři minuty dvaatřicetinkovejch not, dokonalá práce s dynamikou, bezchybný dohmaty (poslouchal jsem pozorně!) a lehce znuděnej pianista
