- The quartz line of Aviator watches is an absolutely special project oriented duty-free shops on board the plane. Airlines-operators lay special claims to the watches. That?s why the quartz and main lines hardly meet each other in the same room.
- What sort of claims do the airlines lay?
- First and foremost they are weight, volume, specificity of packing. Special features of logistics dictate conditions concerning the range: it is enough to have several models f watches on board the plane but there must be the availability of those watches on every board. They want to have considerable margin but with all that watches must be affordable. When a man looks through the catalogue he must be able to take a decision about a purchase in one moment. As a rule this purchase is a gift. Expensive things don?t sell there. That?s why we have designed a quartz line ? inexpensive, with relatively simple design, in aviation style. And the first year showed we had made the right direction.
