This time we have an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean in the Big Size version, powered by the manufacture Calibre 8500. It is one of the most refined generations of the Planet Ocean. Solid, technical and very modern. This particular version features an orange bezel, which in my opinion looks considerably better than the more glossy alternatives. It gives the entire watch a more professional, tool-watch character. The orange indexes and dial details are another interesting touch. They break up the otherwise monochromatic colour scheme and add a strong sporty character. The case measures an impressive 45.5 mm, giving the watch plenty of wrist presence. At the same time, its proportions and well-shaped lugs make it surprisingly comfortable to wear. Inside beats the automatic Omega Co-Axial Calibre 8500. The movement provides 60 hours of power reserve and can be admired through the sapphire display caseback. This is a serious diver. The result speaks for itself. The case measures 40 mm in diameter and only 9.9 mm in thickness. This keeps the watch sporty while remaining remarkably slim and comfortable on the wrist. The main attraction is, of course, the Worldtimer complication. The outer ring with 24 city codes allows different time zones to be read quickly, while the subdial at 3 o'clock displays a second time in a 24-hour format. Another great Speedmaster has just arrived in my collection. This time it is the Omega Speedmaster Professional Broad Arrow Moonphase 3575.30.00. It is one of the more interesting and certainly less obvious versions of the classic Speedmaster. The silver dial, Broad Arrow hands and white gold bezel give it a completely different character. Inside beats the manually wound Omega Calibre 1866. In addition to the time and chronograph, it features a moonphase indication and pointer date. The model had a relatively short production run, from 2001 until approximately 2005. As a result, it is considerably less common than the classic Speedmaster Professional versions. The case measures a classic 42 mm. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the movement can be admired through the exhibition caseback. Comes with a box. It is once again a great pleasure to offer a true collector’s gem. This time, one of the most desirable versions of the Tudor Big Block — the classic Panda dial paired with the so-called Daytona-style bezel, a configuration well known and highly appreciated among collectors. Panerai Luminor 1950 PAM00372 is a model that can easily be described as a must-have for every Paneristi. The classic 47 mm case, sandwich dial and signature crown protection system create Panerai in its most recognisable form. This is the later version fitted with a sapphire crystal. Perfect for collectors who love the look of the PAM372 but prefer to avoid the micro-scratches commonly associated with Plexiglas. Inside beats the manufacture, manually wound Panerai P.3000 calibre. The movement provides a factory-rated power reserve of 72 hours. This particular example achieved an impressive 73 hours and 15 minutes during testing. Beat error is 0.0–0.1 ms, while amplitude is approximately 300°. The watch dates from 10/2020 and remains covered by the Panerai manufacturer's warranty until 10/2028. Porsche Design Flat Six P’6340 in, for me, one of the best-looking and sportiest colour combinations of the entire collection. The black case and dial are combined with strong red accents. The result perfectly reflects the motorsport DNA of Porsche Design and looks considerably more aggressive than the classic Flat Six versions. The case measures 44.5 mm. Integrated chronograph pushers and the tachymeter bezel give the watch a very technical character. Inside beats the proven automatic ETA Valjoux 7750. It provides approximately 46 hours of power reserve together with chronograph, day and date functions. For me, this is the most interesting colour version of the P’6340. Omega Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond 50th Anniversary is one of my favourite Bond-themed Omega limited editions. The model was created to celebrate 50 years of James Bond films. Only 11,007 pieces of the 41 mm version were produced. The black dial features a repeating 007 motif. It is paired with a ceramic bezel featuring the distinctive red “50”, immediately setting this edition apart from the standard Seamaster. Another great detail is the caseback inspired by the iconic Bond “gun barrel” sequence. Through its central section, you can see the movement rotor decorated with a bullet-inspired motif. Rolex Deepsea 136660 with the D-Blue “James Cameron” dial is the most distinctive version of Rolex’s extreme professional diver. Its gradient dial transitions from vivid blue to almost complete black. The colour scheme commemorates James Cameron’s historic solo dive to the bottom of the Mariana Trench.
