I have always liked this model, but until now I mostly had experience with the larger 43 mm versions. On my wrist, they simply felt too imposing. This SeaQ measures 39.5 mm and, for me, the proportions are almost perfect. It remains a proper sports watch without overwhelming the wrist. The black dial and ceramic bezel contrast beautifully with the vintage-toned indexes and hands. Meanwhile, the domed sapphire crystal adds a subtle vintage character. Inside beats the manufacture Calibre 39-11 with approximately 40 hours of power reserve. It features Glashütte Original’s characteristic swan-neck fine adjustment and a beautifully finished skeletonised Double-G rotor. However, what really makes this example special is the set. You receive all three original wearing options: a textile strap with folding clasp, a rubber strap with pin buckle and the stainless-steel bracelet with micro-adjustment. In addition, an original Glashütte Original sapphire display caseback has been purchased separately. The original solid stainless-steel caseback is, of course, also included. Papers are dated 2021.
