Hello,

I am new to this forum and was recommended from another forum by Viktor. I am interested in learning about these Prim watches, the Prim Sport. I have been collecting watches for 4 years, starting with Raymond Weil, Tag Heuer, Lum-Tec, Sinn, Damasko, Glashutte Original, and several Ulysse Nardin. I would like to add a Prim watch to my collection for personal reason. Looking forward to discussion in this forum.

Thank you

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

Enjoy your hunt for Prim Sport - it is a pretty long journey but all about a very nice watch with cool history and presence. For start, here is a link to some pictures of vintage PS1then use the search function in a top right corner (choose the Google site search in a second window) to find more.

keywords: prim sport, igen, elton sport,

Regards

G.

My grandparents are from Czechoslovakia and I have spent a long time learning about Slovakia & Czech Republic. I think it will be nice to have something unique in my collection and I like the Prim Sport Igen. I want to buy one that has been refurbished, like the one that Viktor has posted on this forum. Thank you all for the warm greeting.

Then you must get the Igen. For the watch fan-collector its the most iconic watch in former Czechoslovakia. Versatile yet subtle in design. The only watch which tops the Igen is the rare Prim Orlik.

Hi there,

as for the Orlik advertised,I wouldn t buy this one as the condition isn t good.

Regarding a Sport 1 ...it is a really nice, practical ,different watch to wear with a timeless design. If you had an original mechanism and had it put in a new case it would be harder wearing than the original chrome.I have done some research as I am thinking of doing the same thing. If you want they will even produce a face and lunette in the colour of your choice.it sounds mouthwateringly good.

Best wishes

Micky
