Waldenburg, 01.07.2014 - REVUE THOMMEN AG announces the selection of their Miniature Altimeter Module (MAM), the smallest in series produced mechanical Altimeter of the world, for a further exciting application.

 

This week ORIS, a well-known Swiss watch manufacturer which focuses on producing exclusively mechanical watches and which is located 10 miles north of Waldenburg, has launched the "Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot Altimeter" - a Pilot?s Watch with an automatic movement and with the integrated mechanical Miniature Altimeter Module (MAM) made by THOMMEN.

 

The THOMMEN MAM has been developed end of the Eighties targeting a variety of sports- and industrial applications requiring barometric/altitude measurement with a minimum physical footprint while being fully independent from electrical power.
