  1. If I understand correctly.Yes.the photograph from the elton website as you supposed.
  2. Dear Prim people out there, has anyone seen the new Orlik replica other than in photos? What is your impression, please? Why is the face not the same as the original? How much should the bigger version cost? Thank you in advance. Enjoy the rest of the summer. Micky
  3. Were the 500 or so watches made for general sale numbered , or not ? I do not think that they are. I think to say watches on e bay are not original is going a bit far, but I would be a bit suspicious ! Micky
  4. No,it isn't! If I am not mistaken 2,500 were made for the Air force. All were numbered on the back. It could be an automatic made up with an air force face later , or one of the around 500 extra watches that were for general sale at the time. If it is not numbered there is no real way to know if it is original or not, I think I am sure there are people who are more qualified than me to tell you for sure. Best wishes Micky
  5. Thank you for your reply. I understand that both versions , with the silver and gold faces are correct.it is only that the chrome is rarer and ,in my opinion more beautiful. I have both which you can see on this Prim forum. Best wishes Micky
  6. Dear Prim experts, I have just seen a chrome diplomat on e bay described as a PRIM DIPLOMAT PRESIDENTIAL watch. Can anyone tell me if this name is correct or not, please? Best wishes Micky
  7. Thanks, I am glad you like it , but it will never be worn as it is so rare and in such good condition
  8. Dear watch fans, I hope that you are having a good Christmas. This year I have been lucky enough to get the most beautiful , rare vintage Prim I have ever , and probably will ever see ! I am afraid that my photographic skills do not do justice to the watch, but I have tried. What did you get? Best wishes for a merry Christmas and a very happy, healthy New Year!!! Micky
  9. Dear Prim experts, I think I remember reading somewhere that Diplomats had plaque of either gold or silver. Is that true or is the silver coloured model chrome? Best wishes Micky
  10. Dear Skalis, thank you for your reply. As you asked , I enclose some more pictures of the chrome Prim Diplomat. Kind regards Micky
  11. Dear Prim experts, I would like to ask if the chrome Diplomat with silver hands , but gold on the face that I have was made by Prim like that , or if it was made up later . Shouldn't the marking on the six and twelve be silver too? I think it is really beautiful and in very good condition , but I have a doubt in my mind about its' origins. Could you help, please? Enjoy the sunny Autumn days. Micky
  12. Hello there, it was a present,so I really don't know , sorry If your girlfriend does want to sell hers,I would be interested in having another just as good as I have. Micky
  13. Dear Prim experts, I noticed that on Aukro , a Sport 1 1st Gen which was not renovated , but in good condition was sold for 8000 Crowns. What do you think about this? Is it correct, a trend , stupidity, or a trend in stupidity? Enjoy the summer sun. Best wishes Micky
  14. I do not know what the original owner did to be presented with this ,but I hope it was nothing too bad! For me it was an intersting find. Sorry i do not speak Czech Micky
  15. Thanks for helping to improve my pathetic Czech language skills! Micky
  16. Thanks a lot. Micky
  17. Dear all, when i have looked at the PRODAM section , I have noticed that people use the term, sz.What does it mean, please? Micky
  18. Thanks for your reply. Live long and prosper! If you know this was a Vulcan or Spock greeting Micky
  19. Thanks as always Micky
  20. Dear Prim specialists and fans, I have heard that Elton does not supply spare parts for the repair and renovation of vintage Prim and that they prefer to do the work themselves, is that correct? Does anyone have a complete price list for this type of work in Czech and in Czech Crowns, and then as an exercise to help my pathetic Czech language skills I will translate it! Diky moc in advance ! Micky
  21. Thanks a lot , nice Orlik! Micky
  22. Thanks a lot Skalis
  23. Thanks for the reply, well I may be wrong but I have seen numbering on the movement. The mismatching I was referring to was the numbering on the watch back and the movement.I could be wrong of course..... Best wishes Micky
  24. Dear Prim specialists, please excuse my ignorance , but I wonder if someone can tell me what generally happened regarding the numbering of Pre-Revolution Prim watches? ie What was , what was not numbered on the back of watches? Also if the serial number numbers do not match on the watch, is that a problem? I am really enjoying collecting vintage Prim, but my problem is that my Czech is too poor to follow the Prim discussions in Czech!! Thank you in advance Best Wishes Micky
  25. Another possibility in my opinion, the beautiful Jaeger - LeCoultre Master Control in the steel version. It is possibly a bit late now as you have probably bought something for your son by now. Anyway I would , like others I am sure like to know what you finally pick/have picked for him. Kind regards Micky
