Byl jsem si vyzkoušet Mountain Light přímo ve Factory Store v Portlandu, ale kloním se k Mountain Trail kvůli kožené podšívce (lining). Podrážka na Trail je měkčí a méně odolná, ale až se ochodí, tak se dá vyměnit za festovní stejnou jako na Mountain Light a člověk dostane de facto Mountain Light bez gore-texu. Fracapy jsou alternativa, která tohle nabízí rovnou. Shipping v rámci EU (Danner není problém ale, v Portlandu jsem několikrát ročně, takže můžu koupit tam) a hlavně kompletní individualizace a ušití podle velikosti nohy. Co by mě zajímalo je, jestli jsou Fracap použitelný jako opravdový lehký pohorky, nebo je to spíš módní záležitost. Jsou šité goodyearem? Díky

Sami na svých webovkách píší toto: "IDEAL STICHING This technique of stitching the top part of the boots to the midsole is used for military boots. It ensure strength and durability. Differently from others, this technique provides immediate comfort to your feet since the internal part of the boots is softer." Měl jsem je vloni a myslím, že taky něco snesou jako lehký pohorky. Ale vybíráš-li je spíš pro túry, tak bych volil Danner. A mít možnost je koupit přímo v Portlandu, asi bych o jiných nepřemýšlel. Jeho boty mi přijdou takový bytelnější. Fracap jsem kupoval jako teplý boty do zimy ve městě (možnost "fur lining" rozhodla). Nicméně jsem ale zřejmě blbě změřil nohu* a boty byly celkem těsný, takže jsem přenechal bráchovi a letos pořídil Danner Mountain Light II. Kdybych neudělal chybu, jistě bych byl s Fracap spokojený (pohodlí, design i zpracování jsou super). Kdyby nebyly tak drahý popřemýšlel bych ještě o Paraboot Avoriaz s norským šitím. *napsal jsem Italům, že mám nohu 27,5 cm (ve skutečnosti ale 27,7). Oni řekli, že k délce nohy mám připočíst 1-1,5cm a dle tabulky tedy vybrat EU 43 nebo 43,5. No a já vybral 43... Images are visible only to registered users.
